The firm has extensive experience in advising on the implementation of economic projects, in addition to having knowledge of the singularities of the region. Environmental, Land & Mining Law:
The firm has experience in handling environmental and mining issues in general and in Amazonia in particular, with extensive practice in actions related to the implementation and operation of mining projects, genetic resources, whether or not associated to traditional knowledge, forest management, fishing, agrarian and agroindustrial issues, with the effective participation in the follow-up of administrative procedures, including administrative defenses, environmental licensing processes, public hearings, implementation of mineral easements and mining rights in general, as well as those with judicial nature, always with a focus on the results obtained and the objectives of its clients.
Career
He was Attorney General of the State of Pará and Secretary of State for Finance. He is President of the Council of the Centro Cultural Brasil Estados Unidos – CCBEU and Former Vice-President of the Brazilian Bar Association – Pará Section. He was a Federal Councilor of the OAB and a member of its Environment Commission.
Professor at the Federal University of Pará, Master in Economic Constitutional Law, and former Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Law at the same University.

Member of the Instituto dos Advogados Brasileiros, the Instituto dos Advogados do Pará, where he is its President, and the Academia Paraense de Letras Jurídicas. Former Fulbright Scholar.

He published the books “Economic Order in the 1988 Constitution” and “Tax and economic law applied to the environment and mining”, as well as several articles in books and periodicals dealing with legal matters. He participated in numerous events as a lecturer, speaker and debater.
