José Miguel Diez

Practice Areas

José Miguel Diez is admitted to practice both in Chile and New York and has vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, capital markets and general corporate matters.

He actively participates in relevant M&A transactions, having carried out public M&A transactions through public tender offers. He regularly advises private equity funds on M&A deals. He also actively participates in the structuring of public and private investment funds, as well as in carrying out their transactions. He also advises local and foreign banks and pension funds in project finance and financing transactions.

Before joining NLD he was the general counsel of a group of several listed companies, associate at Barros & Errázuriz and Carey, and served as general counsel at Credicorp Capital Chile. He was an international associate at the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton.
