He has been practising in top City law firms for more than 20 years and has international experience advising clients on data protection, telecoms, technology, and commercial.

Jose is ranked in Chambers & Partners for “FinTech Legal: Data Protection & Cyber Security”. He regularly advises companies on complex data protection matters, big data, health data, international data transfers, Artificial Intelligence, and e-commerce including online advertising.

Jose is also recognised in Legal 500 for his IT and Telecoms expertise which includes: (i) drafting and negotiating complex cross border IT and Telecoms agreements such as SaaS, PaaS, software development, IT Consultancy, reseller agreements, cloud agreements, software licences, and online advertising; (ii) advising multinationals on other general commercial matters such as retail, agency and distribution agreements and the application of the Commercial Agents Regulations; and (iii) on the regulatory landscape, advising on fixed and wireless communications companies and car manufacturers in the UK in all aspects of the UK communications legal framework, including compliance with Ofcom’s general conditions of entitlement, security requirements, mobile content, and data and numbering intelligence.
