Joseph Howe, senior counsel in the firm’s Tax practice, is an experienced tax and business lawyer with a concentration in the representation of REITs and structuring cross-border funds, multi-national holding company structures, complex real estate, partnership and business transactions in the US and Europe. He is active structuring operations of REITs outside the US and exploring the use of foreign REIT structures. Mr. Howe has extensive experience in cross-border transactions involving multiple tax systems and parties from different countries in structuring tax efficient operations both inbound into the US and international joint ventures in Europe.
