Juan Andrés Ilharreborde is a founding partner of VEI.
He specializes in corporate matters and M&A, advising both sellers and buyers in takeovers transactions, including bidding processes and public or private takeover bids, acquisition of minority shareholdings stakes, sales of assets or other types of partnerships, such as mergers and joint ventures.
He is also the head of the Venture Capital department of VEI, where he specializes in counselling both companies and investors in conducting financing rounds, in all the different modalities of capital raising, including equity rounds, convertible notes, SAFEs, KISS and other instruments. Additionally, he has great experience counselling companies and its founders in Flip Transactions to re-domiciliate Chilean Companies abroad and in the internationalization process of their operations.
He is a professor of Commercial Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
