Career
Founding Partner at BCP Abogados, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; PhD in Law, Universidad de Navarra, Spain. Her professional trajectory has been focus on leading diverse complex litigation cases in criminal, punitive administrative and civil liability law. He specializes in the development and implementation of crime prevention and corporate integrity strategies in companies.
In the public sector, he was President of the State Defense Council between 2014 and 2017. Previously, he was Undersecretary of Justice (2012-2'013) and interim Justice Minister of the Chilean Government (2013-2014). Furthermore, he was a delegate in Geneva to present in the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Human Rights in Chile to the United Nations in 2014. Also he was co-agent representing the State of Chile in the case against the Plurinational State of Bolivia before the International Court of Justice regarding the dispute related to the Silala River. In October 2014, he was the efense attorney for the Minister of the Interior and Public Security, Carolina Tohá, in the constitutional accusation presented by the Republican Party, which was rejected by the Chamber of Deputies of Chile.
