Practice Areas
Juliet’s practice covers all areas of family law, with a particular focus on matrimonial finance. Juliet is frequently asked to advise and act in cases involving actual or potential dissipation of assets, often requiring tracing assets internationally through complex corporate and fiduciary structures. In addition to her own busy practice, Juliet is regularly led by silks in high value and complex cases. In 2016, Juliet was junior counsel in the Supreme Court case of Scatliffe v Scatliffe [2016] UKPC 36.
Career
Junior counsel in the case of M v M [2014] 1 FLR 439, at the time, the largest financial remedy award ever made following contested proceedings. Other reported cases are M v M (Financial Provision) [2010] EWHC 2817 (Fam), M v M [2013] EWHC 3372 (Fam) and D v D [2015] EWHC 1393 (Fam).
Juliet was called to the Bar of the British Virgin Islands in 2011.
