Karlin is a partner in the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes Group. She has significant experience litigating and arbitrating matters in a variety of subject areas, including business and commercial disputes, consumer class actions, and product liability cases. Karlin has a robust commercial disputes practice, representing clients in a wide range of industries including mechanical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, recreational and outdoor sports, consumer products, and financial services. Many of Karlin’s cases involve disputes regarding the development, implementation, supply, and performance of products and technology in these industries.

During her career at Reed Smith, Karlin has practiced extensively in state and federal courts across the country, as well as before arbitral panels, handling cases at all stages from intake and early case analysis through dispositive motions and trial or final hearing. Karlin’s experience also includes an externship for the Honorable Morton Denlow (Ret.) U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
