Kartik uses a combination of first-chair trial experience and a deep understanding of the real estate sector to help clients navigate complex legal challenges. Often serving as a trusted advisor, Kartik builds creative strategies on behalf of owners, investors, operators and developers to handle disputes arising at any point during the life cycle of their ventures. Kartik routinely litigates matters arising out of the acquisition or disposition of assets, commercial lending and financing arrangements, property damage, insurance coverage, landlord-tenant relations and real property issues.

Kartik also has a burgeoning land use and municipal law practice, assisting clients with governmental-law issues pending before administrative bodies and courts. These include matters relating to large-scale developments, zoning, public-private financing arrangements, permitting, ordinance interpretation and validity, and constitutional rights.
