Kevin Young assists clients in achieving their business and municipal objectives while complying with environmental regulations. He has been practicing environmental law since 1981. He has a master’s degree in Operations and Statistics from RPI and a law degree from Harvard Law School. He serves as counsel to numerous municipalities and manufacturing facilities, over 20 sewage treatment plants, all types of solid waste facilities (landfills, recycler, biomass), and developers. His experience includes all areas of environmental regulations, including NYC Watershed Rules, SEQRA, RCRA, CERCLA, asbestos, air and water, all matters relating to sewage, wetlands, enforcement, solid waste and formation of sewer and water districts. He has extensive experience in litigating and negotiating with governmental agencies. His approach to resolving matters is to identify the problem, identify the client’s objectives, evaluate alternatives to achieve client objectives, and work with the client to select the alternative that best meets the client’s objective for the least cost. His strength and his goal is to resolve matters quickly and cost effectively.
