• Acquisition of UK renewable energy company and investment in offshore wind power projects in UK representing Japanese companies

• Largest M&A deal of acquiring Japanese renewable energy company

(2) Environmental Law and ESG (incl. decarbonization)

• Climate change litigation in Japan (litigation against coal fired power plant project) and legal advice on ESG litigations (incl. climate change litigations)

• Legal advice to many foreign companies and Japanese companies on carbon credits and emission allowances transactions
