Main practice areas are construction law and dispute resolution, assisting builders, contractors and engineers in all phases of construction projects from the tendering process to the final settlement. He is head of the construction group in Oslo, and has in-depth knowledge of the Norwegian standard contracts for construction and engineering work. In addition to traditional construction contracts, he is has extensive experience with target price contracts, joint ventures and partnering contracts.
He is an experienced litigator, and has argued a large number of cases before the district courts, courts of appeal and the Supreme Court, as well as arbitration panels both in Norway and abroad under ICC and SCC Rules.
Qualified in 1999. Joined Arntzen de Besche in 2017 as partner. Previously a partner at DLA Piper, and has also clerked at the Norwegian Supreme Court. Qualified to argue cases before the Norwegian Supreme Court in 2004.
