Practice Areas

Litigation practice focuses on complex corporate and commercial matters, including securities-related litigation and proceedings and class action defence, with significant experience in cross-border regulatory and litigation matters. Represents and provides strategic advice to public companies in various industries, directors and officers, boards and special committees, and other market participants. Has appeared as lead counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta and various administrative tribunals, including the Capital Markets Tribunal. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Advocates’ Society, a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a former member of the Securities Proceedings Advisory Committee, the Ontario Bar Association Council and the Executive Committee of the Women in White Collar Defense Association.
