Laura Geraghty

Practice Areas

Laura's expertise covers all aspects of private family law matters, including divorce, separation and issues relating to children. She has a particular interest in children matters, including child arrangements orders, child relocation (both internally and abroad); specific issue applications and prohibited steps orders. These cases can be highly emotional, but Laura guides her clients through them with a sensitive and calm approach.

Laura has expertise in dealing with the financial aspect of the parties’ separation and a high proportion of her workload involves complex trusts and property and corporate structures, both in the UK and internationally.

Laura also has experience in the preparation and negotiation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements in order to seek to protect certain assets in the event of a divorce.
