Lauren heads up the Clinical Negligence Department at Taylor Rose.
She specialises in claims of maximum severity including birth and spinal injury claims. She also has a particular interest in cases concerning obstetrics and gynaecology, general surgery, cardiology, fatal claims and cases involving complex medicine. Lauren also has a particular interest in quantifying claims, striving to ensure that all aspects of her injured client's future needs are met.
Noteable cases include:
- £650,000 for the negligent management of a post-operative infection following hip replacement surgery.
- £6.9 million as a result of a negligent delay in diagnosing meningitis.
- £8.7 million as a result of a negligent paediatric resuscitation following cardiac surgery.
- £300,000 for a fatal case where there was a failure to recognise and treat pre-eclampsia during pregnancy.
- £175,000 for a fatal case where there was a failure to treat pre-eclampsia during pregnancy.
- £6.1 million for negligent delay in diagnosing and removing a spinal haematoma following a C6/7 foraminotomy.
- £15.4 million for a child who suffered brain damage at birth
- £16.5 million for delay in diagnosing kernicterus in the neonatal period
