Lauren has specialised in clinical negligence work since qualification with particular expertise in fatal cases, brain and spinal injuries and cases relating to maternity care. Over the years Lauren has secured substantial awards for Claimants including £1 million (spinal injury, 2015), £8 million (amputation claim, 2017), £18 million (brain injury, 2017), £1 million (peri-partum cardiomyopathy, 2018), £12 million plus PPOs (cerebral palsy, 2023) and £1 million (fatal claim, 2024) as well as interim payments of £3 million and £1 million in 2023 and 2024. Lauren has represented families at Inquests and been appointed as solicitor to the inquest by HM Coroner for Manchester. She took a case to a trial on quantum in 2017 and was successful at trial in Bradfield-Kay v Cope [2020] EWHC 1352 (QB).
Career
Joined Pannone (now Slater and Gordon) in 2009; qualified in 2011. Became Principal Lawyer in 2017.
Joined Leigh Day in 2018 and made Partner in 2024.
