do not have a designated labor and employment specialist. She provides strategic

advice and legal counsel on a real-time basis, addressing the myriad of situations

that arise during the course of daily business as well as developing and

implementing a wide range of policies, including Covid, negotiating executive

compensation, drafting termination agreements, and conducting Board

presentations and briefings.

Deeply invested in the outcomes for her clients, Lisa is known for her

straightforward delivery of what to do and what not to do. Clients rely on Lisa to

be direct and partner with their Human Resources professionals to find innovative

solutions to employment and employee relations issues that arise, including

conducting effective and sensitive internal investigations, so clients can focus on

other aspects of their business with minimal disruption.

A talented trial lawyer, Lisa represents and defends clients at all stages of

litigation in both state and federal court. As a former judicial staff attorney at the

Georgia Court of Appeals and an accomplished litigator, Lisa has deep knowledge

of the appellate practice and the ability to lay the foundation for an appeal at the

trial level. Her unremitting research skills, mastery of legal writing, and attention

to detail have proven pivotal in narrowing issues in a case and achieving positive

results for her clients.
