Career
I am a partner and head of the corporate department in Fieldfisher's Brussels office.
With a strong financial law and real estate background, I primarily focuses on domestic or cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on the private equity, venture capital, industrial, real estate and technology sectors.
My work includes drafting share (or assets) purchase agreements, joint-venture agreement, subscription and shareholders agreements as well as the ancillary contractual documentation. I also have experience in employees incentive matters (stock option plans).
I also deal with complex, cross-border, corporate restructurings and also have significant expertise in public reorganisations, which includes significant expertise with (international) not-for-profit entities (associations, public interest companies, sui generis entities, ...), simplification of governmental bodies and drafting legislation.
I assist my clients, ranging from promising start-ups or scale-ups to transnational groups at every stage of their growth and provide them with strategic corporate advice (joint-venture, shareholders agreements, growth capital, stock option plans, convertible bonds / loans, complex governance schemes, etc.).
I have authored a number of publications on corporate law, corporate governance and finance law and I am currently a teaching assistant at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (U.L.B.) in the field of insolvency and general principles applicable to legal entities.
I speak French (Native), Dutch and English fluently.
