Luc Wynant

Practice Areas

Luc Wynant is founding partner of Van Olmen Wynant and head of the corporate law practice. Luc has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate law, in particular, regarding mergers & acquisitions and private equity in both transactional and financial work. He focuses especially on international and domestic share and assets acquisitions, venture capital and debt capital markets, (leverage) management buy outs, divestitures, funds formations, mergers and company reorganisations.

Career

Luc was admitted to the Brussels bar in 1989.

Luc graduated from the University of Leuven in 1989 (KU Leuven) and obtained an MBA degree from the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Business School (1990). He was an assistant teacher at the law department of his Alma Mater for several years. He also lectures on private equity and corporate law issues at his Alma Mater and at various national and international congresses and seminars.

Publications

Luc regularly publishes on corporate and financial law. He is the author of the Belgian Chapter in the Private Equity Handbook and the Venture Capital Handbook (Practical Law Company), as well as the ICLG M&A 2022 Guide.
