Manuel Alonso graduated as an attorney from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1995. In 1997, he registered as a Patent and Trademark Agent at the Instituto Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial - INPI. He did a Specialisation course on Industrial Property at the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1997 and later in 2002, another Specialisation course on the Contractual Aspects of Intellectual Property at the Universidad Austral.
