He has more than 25 years of experience advising on Polish and EU regulations governing financial markets. He assists major institutional players operating in the Polish banking sector and capital market in their efforts to implement European regulations of key importance for their services and investment activities, such as MiFID II, BMR, IDD, PRIIP, EMIR, PSD II, AML IV, EMD II, UCITS and AIFMD. He has unique expertise in all aspects related to the implementation of the EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR) gained when providing comprehensive advice on the process of harmonizing the WIBID and WIBOR reference rates and stock exchange indices with the requirements of the Regulation.

His broad experience encompasses projects related to the implementation of investment fund structures, admission of securities to public trading, as well as preparation and negotiation of standard documentation for futures contracts and derivatives, including participation in preparing recommendations of the Polish Banks Association related to standard documentation for derivatives transactions. He also advises on insurance law, in particular on regulatory aspects and developing insurance risk management strategies.
