Marianne leads the Reed Smith’s intellectual property team in Paris and its patent practice in Europe.
She is recognized for coordinating and managing complex national and transnational patent, trade secrets and trademark disputes in the healthcare, chemistry, technology and telecommunications sectors.
She helps clients negotiate IP agreements, in defining employees’ inventions compensation policies and in evaluating their IP portfolios to strengthen their position in mergers and acquisitions, LBOs, financing transactions and initial public offerings.
Having studied and worked in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and U.S., she has extensive knowledge of both the European and American judicial systems.
Finally, Marianne is a lecturer on Intellectual Property Law at the University of Paris and also teaches at the Ecole de Formation du Barreau de Paris (Paris Bar School).
