Mariano Luchetti leads the Firm’s General Corporate and M&A Department and is also a member of the Energy Department of the Firm.
Dr. Mariano Luchetti has developed his entire career at our Firm.
Mr. Luchetti’s practice focuses in mergers, acquisitions and divestures involving both public and private companies, with special attention to the electricity industry in Argentina.
He participated in the structuring and completion of several complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, venture capital investments, project financings, joint ventures, corporate finance and debt-to-equity transactions, and strategic alliances in different countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine, USA, Uruguay and Venezuela.
He has specialized in advising the most important players in the electricity generation, transport and distribution sector in Argentina, and more recently, the natural gas transport and distribution sectors.
Mr. Luchetti received a law degree from the Law School of the Argentine Catholic University in 1996 and was a foreign associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & Mc Cloy, New York, during 2001-2002.
