Mark is a corporate partner at Freshfields specialising in capital markets. His experience includes public and private securities offerings of all types, as well as mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work across a number of sectors. Mark regularly advises a range of corporate and investment bank clients.

Mark advised Lord Hill on his UK Listing Review that was published in March 2021 and in October 2021 he was asked by the Chancellor of the Exchequer to lead and be the independent chair of the UK Secondary Capital Raising Review.

Professional Memberships

Mark is chair of the Listing Authority Advisory Panel (LAAP), which advises the FCA on primary markets policy and regulation issues and is a member of the Primary Markets Group, which advises the London Stock Exchange on capital markets matters, as well as the Company Law Committee of the City of London Law Society.
