Marzio Ciani is a Capital Markets expert who worked for several years with a leading US law firm in Rome, Milan and New York assisting underwriters and issuers in some of the most significant equity capital markets transactions of the recent past, including public offers and listings on Borsa Italiana and the New York Stock Exchange, tender offers and exchange offers, rights offerings, private placements to institutional investors and employee offers. Marzio Ciani has considerable experience also in debt capital markets transactions including high yield offers, convertible and exchangeable bonds, European Medium Term Notes programs, US shelf take-downs and issuances of asset-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations. Marzio Ciani regularly assists Italian and foreign clients in connection with public offer rules and available exemptions under Italian and US securities law and foreign banks in establishing branches or secondary offices in Italy.
