Licensed to practice law since 1984, Matt advises clients how to design and implement creative legal solutions with a focus on transnational business. At the core of his practice is global mobility – the movement of entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, and workers – to the United States. The practice involves diverse legal disciplines, including, but not limited to, immigration, corporate, contract, trade, and employment. Matt regularly lectures before university, professional organizations, and government entities around the world on legal matters.

Always an innovator, Matt bought his first personal computer in 1983 for law school. His was the first personal computer when joined his first law firm in 1985 and his second law firm in 1988. Matt designed and published one of the first law firm websites on the Internet (SchulzLaw.com 1994-2009, discontinued while Matt was a partner at Baker McKenzie), according to a 1994 article titled "Lawyers in Cyberspace" published by The Baltimore Sun. He became proficient at Linux, Apache, MySQL, PhP, Html, xHtml, JavaScript and dynamic PDF. Now he publishes SchulzLaw.us since 2024 and applies varies AI technologies to his daily law practice.
