Career
Max served as the chair of the Tokyo office Litigation Department (2006–2013) and managing partner of the Los Angeles office (2004–2006). He is admitted to practice in California and New York, and is qualified in Japan (Gaikokuho-Jimu-Bengoshi).

Max is currently serving as president of the Tokyo IP American Inn of Court (2021–2022).
