Ms. Van Schoorisse mainly specializes in the wider entertainment sector, the power generation and energy industry, as well as in transport and consumer goods.
Career
Ms. Van Schoorisse has - prior to joining Covington - gained extensive experience as an associate at two international law firms in Brussels, and as a secondee to the in-house competition team of a multinational oil and gas company in London, dealing with a wide array of vertical issues, cartel investigations, M&A transactions, and compliance training.
Publications
Ms. Van Schoorisse co-authored (i) the book “De Belgische Mededingingswet 2013 - Een praktische en kritische analyse” on the Belgian Competition Act 2013, (ii) the “Overzicht van de beslissingspraktijk van de Belgische Mededingingsautoriteit”, an annual overview of the case law of the Belgian Competition Authority and the relevant Courts, and (iii) the "Latest developments in Anti-Cartel Enforcement in the European Union", an annual synopsis of the EC's cartel enforcement and the European Courts' key judgments.
