Meng Fai is a senior partner of Belden, specialising in construction, energy and infrastructure law. He has over 15 years’ experience in this specialist area, having practised in Singapore and Malaysia. Meng Fai appears regularly in international and domestic arbitrations as well as appellate courts of Malaysia.
Apart from dispute resolution, his practice includes drafting and advising on construction contracts, offering valuable guidance on project management for a wide range of infrastructure projects. This includes urban transport, high-value commercial developments, residential property development agreements and mixed-use projects encompassing Grade A corporate office towers, residential towers, and retail space with a gross development value (GDV) of RM800 million. Meng Fai leverages his legal expertise alongside a seasoned understanding of the industry to deliver solutions for his clients.
