Career

Mike Austin represents clients on complex real estate and infrastructure transactions, including joint ventures, retail and commercial leases and acquisitions and dispositions. He also has significant experience in representing real estate private equity clients in the United States and Europe in private fund formations and in co-investments. As part of his work on infrastructure transactions, he has represented several flagship state universities in entering into long-term concessions with respect to their parking and energy systems. Additionally, he has assisted clients involved in developing public-private partnerships with states and municipalities for the operation of major infrastructure assets in the U.S., such as tollways, utility systems and parking systems.
