Michael Pineiro

Practice Areas

Michael Pineiro is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on complex business litigation, securities, and investor fraud, trust and estates disputes, professional negligence, and regulatory litigation. Mr. Pineiro represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high-profile civil litigation, and in recent years has recovered over $40 million on behalf of his clients.

Prior to MNR, Mr. Pineiro was an associate at an AmLaw 100 firm, where his practice focused on securities litigation, government enforcement defense, and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Pineiro also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan, who served on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Pineiro previously served on the Ad Hoc Committee on Rules and Procedures for the U.S. District Court for Southern District of Florida, and he was appointed by then-Governor Rick Scott to serve as a commissioner on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Third District Court of Appeals.

Mr. Pineiro received his A.B., cum laude, from Harvard University, and his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar.
