Advising clients doing business with distressed companies and clients facing financial distress solve their most challenging problems, including how to protect their interests when dealing with distressed companies and the development and execution of strategies to address financial distress. He has successfully represented clients in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, as well as in out-of-court workouts and restructurings. He has represented clients in many notable bankruptcy cases, including Chrysler, General Motors, Borders Books, Ahern Rentals, Trump Entertainment, and Congoleum. He has also received appointments as bankruptcy examiner, Chapter 11 trustee, and consumer privacy ombudsman.
