Michelle is a partner and head of GA's family department. She specialises in financial settlements in divorce, dealing with complex assets and issues, farming cases and pensions of all types. She advises on pre and post nuptial agreements, private law children cases, cohabitee disputes/ToLATA claims.
Michelle has specialised in family law since 1989. She trained with Geoffrey Stevens & Co. which merged with GA in 1996. She qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and became a partner with GA in 2000. She has practiced extensively as a mediator and was a recognised mediator by the Legal Aid Agency. Michelle has discussed key family law issues on local radio and given presentations to local businesses.
