Career

Mikael Rahim has over 13 years of legal experience in corporate advisory and dispute resolution, and has been with Mohsin Tayebaly & Co. for over 10 years, being involved in a diverse range of corporate, commercial, banking, financial and regulatory matters. He directly handles and has extensive experience in transactions, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, private equity, securities markets, public offerings, REITS, payment systems, financing including corporate financing (local and foreign currency), debt restructuring, capital markets including term finance certificate (bond) and sukuk (shariah compliant bond) Issues, Islamic financing, and other corporate, finance and commercial transactions. He is also extensively involved in advisory, including corporate compliance, corporate governance and regulatory issues involving the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Competition Commission of Pakistan and other sector specific regulatory authorities.
