Practices mainly in the field of capital markets, including global securities offerings by Japanese issuers (especially start-up companies) and non-Japanese issuers. Also practices in the field of M&A, especially acquisitions using stock of Japanese corporations as consideration, equity incentive plans and other types of transactions using stocks of Japanese corporations, as well as offering of fund interests in Japan.

Career

Joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu in 2007; became partner in 2018. Worked at Merrill Lynch Japan Securities Co., Ltd. (currently BofA Securities Japan Co., Ltd.) in 2011-2012; Simpson Thacher & Bartlett (New York) in 2013-2014.
