Myra Leung of Burges Salmon advises high net worth individuals on a range of immigration matters, including the points-based visa system, indefinite leave to remain and British citizenship. She has a particular specialism in advising on complex issues and interactions between UK immigration and tax law including the tax implications of moving to the UK, pre-immigration tax planning, residence, domicile, settlement and naturalisation.
Myra is a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (ILPA) and is a co-convenor for the ILPA South West working group. She is also a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has completed the STEP Diploma in Tax and Estate Planning (England and Wales).
Myra is fluent in Cantonese and speaks Mandarin to a high level.
