Natasha Molloy is a Partner and head of the Court of Protection team in the Nottingham office of Freeths LLP. She frequently acts as professional deputy on behalf of vulnerable individuals in her personal capacity or via a trust corporation and specialises in cases involving serious brain injury arising from catastrophic accidents or birth injury, which involves the careful management of substantial compensation awards. She regularly arranges for the purchase and adaptation of property, employs care teams and makes additional court applications for statutory wills, gifts and family care payments. She works closely alongside litigation solicitors to manage interim awards of damages for her clients prior to settlement and frequently acts as an expert witness in litigated cases.
Career
Natasha started her Court of Protection career at Manchester firm JMW in 2006 and went on to set up and develop a specialist team of Court of Protection lawyers at specialist litigation practice, Fentons Solicitors, (now Slater & Gordon) in 2009. She joined Freeths in 2014 and has grown and developed her current team, who specialise in all types of Court of Protection cases
