Nazeer Chowdhury has developed a broad common law / commercial practice that includes advising on and acting in tortious and contractual claims of all kinds for both Claimants and Defendants. His particular expertise lies in advising Banks / Finance Houses / Businesses and Consumers on the application of FSMA 2000 and the CCA 1974 (including FCA authorisations) together with the CRA 2015, having been seconded to the FCA and having been instructed in numerous high value commercial disputes. He regularly advises on and / or acting in the following commercial / financial disputes: large scale acquisition of debts, interest rate swaps, Payment Protection Insurance policies, letters of credit, guarantees, assignment of debts, supply of goods and services, Company Directors' negligence and personal and company insolvency.
