Neil’s sponsor clients include private equity, growth equity, and venture capital funds, fundless sponsors and other market participants. He represents both emerging and established companies as well as their boards of directors. He has broad experience in diverse industries that include higher education, technology, hospitality, healthcare, media, consumer products, financial services, professional services and fashion. Neil's regular engagements include: portfolio company acquisitions and sales; portfolio company add-on acquisitions; venture capital, growth equity and convertible note investments; joint ventures and “acquire-hire” transactions; securities transactions and co-investments; recapitalizations; corporate governance and complex dispute resolution matters. He also provides efficient “outside general counsel” representation for funds and companies that do not employ in-house general counsel.
Neil is the Vice Chair of the New York State Bar Association Business Law M&A Committee. He is a frequent speaker at NYSBA Business Law Section M&A Committee events.
