Nicole's practice draws on 30 years’ experience gathered across the full spectrum of insurance law, with a particular focus on large litigation defence and financial lines, professional indemnity actions, directors' and officers' litigation, class actions, major torts, regulatory investigations and indemnity advice to the private/public sector. Nicole acts for Australian general and life insurers and London market underwriters, in defence of claims and advising on coverage issues.
She is an experienced litigator having acted in defence of multi party litigation including class action disputes. Her experienced includes defence and coverage counsel in securities class actions, consumer class actions and regulatory investigations and prosecutions. Nicole is also experienced in advising on construction disputes both in defence, coverage and monitoring.
Over the past three years Nicole has been the lead partner responsible for advising IAG in relation to the disputes arising out of the collapse of Greensill Capital Pty Ltd and trade credit insurance policies issued by BCC Trade Credit.
