He is frequently instructed in sanctions cases with a commercial aspect, including shipping, trust, banking and insurance matters. His cases often involve complex offshore financial structures. He has acted for clients in relation to OFSI licence applications and OFSI investigations. He has advised numerous solicitors firms on the effects of sanctions on their practices. He has also been instructed as an expert to give evidence on UK sanctions law. He speaks at conferences and seminars on sanctions.
