Phill Hall is an England and Wales qualified lawyer with over 20 years’ of experience advising underwriters and issuers on an array of international capital markets transactions including convertible/exchangeable bonds, medium-term note programmes, Islamic finance, regulatory capital, straight debt issues and liability management transactions.
Phill continues to be extremely active in the South and Southeast Asia and Australia markets, trusted by clients to work on a wide range of cross-border transactions in the region. Clients appreciate, in particular, his strong expertise in Malaysia-based deals, as well as his ability to guide them through work in relation to Islamic finance. His candid and commercially-driven legal advice is not lost on corporates and banks requiring strong technical advice through fluctuating financial markets that has seen much regulatory transformation in the last two years.
