Practice Areas
Raquel Fox is a co-head of Skadden's SEC Reporting and Compliance practice and head of the firm’s U.S. ESG practice. She concentrates her practice in the areas of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, ESG, corporate governance, and general corporate and securities matters. She advises clients on the full range of SEC and ESG reporting and compliance requirements. Prior to joining Skadden, Ms. Fox held several leadership positions at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”), including serving as the director of the Office of International Affairs, senior adviser to then-Chairman Jay Clayton and senior special counsel to two directors in the Division of Corporation Finance. She also served as a professional attorney fellow in the SEC’s Office of Rulemaking and Office of Capital Markets Trends. Ms. Fox is the vice chair of Nasdaq’s listing and hearing review council and an American College of Governance Counsel fellow. She also is a certified public accountant.
