Career

Reinhard Dallmayr is a Counsel at BLD and one of the most recognized and experienced lawyers in his field, whose expertise lies in reinsurance, insurance supervisory law, arbitration proceedings and financial and professional Lines (W&I, D&O). He has published numerous books and articles and lectured on all of the aforementioned areas. Recent examples of his work include the establishment and licensing of domestic insurance companies, the counseling of foreign insurance companies upon entry into the German market, the development of new insurance products, the representation of insurance companies in a complex post-merger (W&I) arbitration and serving as an arbitrator, the design and wording of outsourcing agreements and the monitoring of asset and portfolio transfers.
