Practice Areas

Renée is a senior associate in the International and UK group actions team at the prestigious firm, Leigh Day. She is based in their London office and represents claimants only, both nationally and internationally. Her current case load consists of claims resulting from international forced labour and international environmental harm.

Renée has day to day management responsibility of her team, also based in London.

Career

Prior to qualifying, Renée worked on death row cases in Mississippi and as a self-employed law cost draftsman.

She then joined a leading and ranked human rights and civil liberties law firm where she qualified as a solicitor and was admitted to the Roll in March 2017.

After qualifying, Renée was asked to assist the victims of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire in Phase 1 of the public inquiry. Following this, she moved to a leading, ranked, international law firm where she specialised in claims pertaining to catastrophic brain and spinal injuries, amputation, complex orthopaedic, psychological, regional or chronic pain injuries, historic sexual abuse claims and wound care. She also represented clients following exposure to asbestos, in high value, complex CICA claims and claims where defendants have been untraceable or uninsured drivers.

She joined Leigh Day in 2023 to specialise in international and UK group litigation.
