Career
Ricardo coordinates the Strategic Litigation area and was one of the pioneers in arbitration in Brazil, both as a lawyer and as an arbitrator. He strategically advises clients’ senior management on the extrajudicial resolution of complex disputes. He works in legal proceedings, especially before higher courts. A guest lecturer and professor in several courses on arbitration, he is the founder of the website “Arbipedia.com” and organizer and/or co-author of more than thirty works and academic articles on Arbitration, Civil Procedure and Business Law.
Professional Memberships
President of the Arbitration Chamber of the Federation of Industries of Rio Grande do Sul (CAMERS).
He was president of the Arbitration Commission of the Federal Council of the OAB, of the Legislation Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM/RS) and of the Alternative Forms of Dispute Resolution Commission of the National Council of Justice (CNJ).
