Mr. Sarver tries complex cases to juries nationwide focusing on environmental, drug and medical device, product liability and oil and gas. He successfully represented CITGO Petroleum in cases stemming from the second largest oil spill in the continental U.S. He serves as national trial counsel for Johnson & Johnson in the DePuy Hip multidistrict litigation. He won jury verdicts in Dallas and Chicago for two different hip implants. He also won complete defense verdicts as lead counsel for Johnson & Johnson in the first and third trials of the Xarelto multidistrict litigation. Mr. Sarver served as lead counsel for the welding industry in national MDL trials, and won defense verdicts in every welding case, including 10 plaintiffs in 3 different states.
Career
Mr Sarver is a founding Member of Barrasso Usdin and a former trial attorney for the US Department of Justice. He has served as lead trial counsel in jury trials in thirteen different states and as lead attorney in more than 100 jury trials.
