Romain Berthon has significant experience of property law, having practised it for over 15 years both in France and on the African continent.
He deals with energy issues, which have become an integral part of the real estate sector in recent years, such as the greening of buildings and contractual clauses, and the energy requirements of data centres (including hyperscale).
He works on a wide range of assets: offices, shopping centres, clinics, urban property complexes, data centres, schools, hotel farms, industry (automotive, aerospace, energy), residential, new towns, etc.
He assists his clients (owners, users or property professionals) from the structuring of operations through to their implementation, from the acquisition of the land (directly, via the company that owns it or through leasing), to the design and construction of the building, its marketing or its operation.
The author of numerous academic articles, he has taught at the Master 246 - real estate management programme at Paris Dauphine University.
