Career
After qualifying as a solicitor in 2004 and working at two global corporate firms, predominantly specialising in employment law, in 2018 Rosie transferred to the bar. Here she continues her well-established practice in employment law but has also developed a successful practice in sports law.
Industry Sector Expertise
Rosie has drawn on her employment law experience to develop the expertise and skills to provide advice to and advocate for professional atheletes, clubs, agents and governing bodies on regulatory/disciplinary matters, anti-doping, safeguarding, contractual disputes, terminations and complaints.
Her experience encompasses advising on disputes both within and outside the UK including in the Court of Arbitration for Sport. She has a particular interest and experience in disciplinary matters involving minors (both professional and amateur) across sports including football, rugby union and cycling, and hearing complaints for governing bodies, for example in basketball and sailing.
Rosie also sits as a chairperson on the disciplinary/appeals panel for British Cycling.
