Rupert Burrows is the Managing Partner of the firm's Tokyo office. Rupert is highly regarded in Japan for his broad experience in projects work, particularly international infrastructure projects in the energy and chemical sectors and related corporate M&A. Rupert has lived and worked in Japan for more than 25 years and is fluent in Japanese.
His clients include all of the major Japanese trading houses as well as a large number of Japanese utilities and banks. He has a wealth of experience advising Japanese companies on cross-border acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and other investments.
